Drum Kit Notation

When playing the drums you need to get used to the fact that there’s no such thing as a ‘standard’ notation system. The below notation system is internationally recognised and based on the Trinity College London standard – all music on this site follows this format. Even then you might run in to slight variations – if in doubt look for a notation key to go with the music you want to play.
